Scraping Sound??

I tried alt picking the same string while palm muting it, but hear alot of scraping sounds from the amp. Think its from the pick scraping the strings. How do i get rid of it? Im on new strings and changing pick doesnt help.

maybe its the angle at which u're picking? or maybe its not really the picking but maybe a lil dust in ur input jack?

dont use metal picks!!! or lower the pickup heights?

Could be this... or it could be your palm moving, so its scrapping up and down.
