I believe it's more severe than that. It involves constant harassing, public (online) humiliation, insults and threats. If bullies are actually cowards behind a tough exterior......then cyber-bullies must be some shitty cowards behind the keyboard.

it's kinda funny to hear abt it lke tt...

but mayb it's a nerds way of getting back
at school bullies. i wudnt blame em.

imo the topic of online etiquette is a gray area.

It is definitely ok to use abusive or 'offensive' (subjective) language online. One just needs to know there might be a backlash associated with it.

Hacking, stalking in real life, however is a criminal offence.

There are many keyboard warriors online, but just do note that they are just like u and me, while adhering to the everyday laws of self preservation in real life, the internet serves also as an outlet to unwind.

But hey, the main purpose of the internet is for porn right? :D

so true.. 12 billion US dollars a year isn't a small sum.. and singapore is at the top of the list in case u guys didn't know

but back to the topic... its so true that cyber bullying is all the rage nowadays. Last year alone, there were at least 5 such cases in my school.. (however the victims were mostly teachers :) )

Well, there was an incident a teacher filed a lawsuit against the culprit's parents (boy is a minor) for cyber insults. So kids, don't pray pray. :)

yeup... public caning also ah.. damn sadistic that one

p.s. although i enjoy the suspense just before the cane lands on the ass...
