hey folks wanna ask whats the diff between a C major pentatonic scale and a G major pentatonic scale.Can i apply the way to play the C maj pentatonic on a G
note? or must i stick to playing the G major scale on a G note?

huh i dont get what you mean. okay the diff between a c maj pent scale and the g major pent scale is the key. learn the 5 boxes for the maj pent scale and you can move them around for different keys.

for maj pent, you take the first note of position 2 as the root note. so in that picture it's e min pent/g maj pent. both scales contain the same notes.

yes u can apply e scale on a G , but G has to be ur root note. wadcha mean by "stick to playing the G major scale on a G note" ?
