Catalog:V the classic rock'n'roll band? The vocalist reminded me of Steve Tyler with the feather on the wrist.
What I am gonna say next, I say with constructivity and no offence/hatre to the individual members or to the band collectively.
The songs are quite cool and nicely written (especially the mother earth song), but a tad monotonous after awhile because they are structured in a very predictable manner - verse, chorus, maybe slap in a short solo after chorus, verse, chorus, full blown solo, breakdown, buildup to final chorus and repeat till end. This arrangement is okay, just that every other part of the song sounds similar. Every song seems to be a 4-chorded 4/4 songs with very subtle variations *maybe it is just me being picky about music*.
The vocalist got good vibrato, but I could hardly hear him clearly (maybe due to the poor sound setup that day). When he talks to the crowd between intervals, I find him to be murmuring to himself cuz I was in front listening and I have difficulty making out what he is trying to say.
The guitarist, nice works on the guitars + the effects were gre8, just that I think the volume of the different patches kinda not consistent - during solo, the volume gets loud (which is understandbale), but after solo when he switch back to the rhythm efx, the volume drop tremendously.
Other that, the keyboard, bassist and drummer are tight. Good stuffs. I particularly love the last song cuz it is more upbeat and something different from the first few songs. With that said, keep rocking and please post your Arena gig details up so people can go and watch u guys play
