Samsung presents Funeral For A Friend Live! 8th September

they definately played the old ones more than the new one...
the first song of their entrance was awesome though...
FFAF is the bomb!!

Quite an awesome show. :)
I'm not really a big big fan but yeah, they definately rocked!

Any SOFTies in there?

wooohoooo

yes im in that pic! at the far right hand side corner..beside the caucasian girl..the one with the specs and crammed face!

lol they were great.matt smiled and reached for me during Roses For The Dead.awesome awesome! :D

i was so not a fan but i really really really enjoyed the show!
awesome songs, really tight transitions and i loved how matt jumped into the crowd at the end!

and the guitarists really blew my mind away during their soundcheck.
awesomely talented band! really smooth riffing man!

i threw a toy dinosaur from the top onto the stage and matt ended up putting it on the bass drum! pretty cool!

anyway, it was really fun to open for them and the reception that ava, caracal and ourselves got were really amazing!
looks like levan and myself worried ourselves over for nothing!

-Dong-

Not a huge fan as well and was contemplating not going. But I had fun in there in the end. Escape Artist was insane. Pure insanity from the band, everyone. :supz:

And ditto on the sound. Great sound indeed.

Whoever managed to unbuckle matt's belt should have completed the deed...I'm just saying.

Who else thought Darran's hair rocked?

Hello again, its time for pics again. I'm not a fan too, but I felt the interaction with the band and the fans was one of the best I've seen.
Very good atmosphere. :P

Pics from the opening bands will be up as soon as I finish my school work!

Thank you James and I hope everyone enjoyed the show!

OOO... So amaka you were the photographer who stood beside me on the balcony. Paiseh ah, bumped into your camera.

oh yeah i think i bumped a photog at the balcony too. so sorry! perfect view from there, right in the middle. thanks for sharing the space!

and had fun leaning against the railing screaming.

'yet i'm nothing more, than a line in your book.'

Everyone has to fight for their place upstairs, the fans for the better view and us photogs for the better angle, I hope we didn't get in the way of your viewing pleasure. :partyman:

As for the openings bands, I can't comment music wise bcuz I know nothing! But I felt the overall atmosphere was a little subdued due to the venue being only half filled, coupled with the fact that people were just raring to see the band they paid to the get the ticket for. The bands also were not fully to their usual energetic self, possibly due to the unenthuisastic crowd. Maybe having three opening bands was a bit too much??

p.s. I've added pics for the opening bands a few more of FFAF (mostly interacting with crowd). The links are,
