Memories by Harold Faltermeyer.

If any of you guys watched Top Gun...its the song thats played when Goose dies and Maverick gets damn emo about him. even i feel damn emotional during that scene. music is amazingly sad hah.

Yes... Classic movie... Tragic when Goose died x.x Thanks to Iceman "Val Kilmer" who took too long to get a lock :(

I believe there's a big difference between sad and depressive. The saddest song I've heard so far?

Johnny Cash's cover of NIN's Hurt.

Eric Clapton's Tears In Heaven.

Across Five Aprils - A Year From Now
That's the best on my list.. Not much singing, more of talking.. But it suits the song perfectly..

Matchbook Romance - Tiger Lily
This song has had some implications on my life..

Vitamin C - Graduation
Well.. This really depends on context.. I find it depressing to leave school, to be left only with your memories and friendships formed, which in fact should be enough.. But deep inside we all know that we can never experience those moments again, only in our heads, never in reality..

Apocalyptica - Farewell
Instrumental piece, which leaves you to interpret the meaning of the song.. I find it has a soulful note that really leaves a lasting impression..

Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms

Saddest anti war song ever. Mark knopfler is one of the best underrated guitarist

Tears In Heaven By Eric Clapton

When The Children Cry by White Lion

With Arms Wide Open By Creed (for me i"ve always wanted a son)
