i'm not jealous...it just looked unnatural to me. his playing that is...if it's not sped up then good for him. we have another potential drummer in the world..WOO. :???:

agree with what he said. look carefully at 4:00 the toms are vibrating at normal speed. nothing unusual abt this dude. he's parents brought him up perfectly to become a drummer. =)
p.s 4:00 is really amazing how fast he went :???:

Anyway, does it concern us? If he's cheating, he cheats himself too. If he drum for fame, let him be. We got no right to change his thoughts on drumming.. If it's real, he's good.

um, don't think its sped up.
he's really fast for his age, but not that fast compared to adults? i think derek roddy, buddy rich and joe morello faster.
also, the image of 'speed' created by him is using a lot of licks using bounce stickings like paradiddle diddle (RLRRLL), fast singles for short bursts (up to one bar of 16th triplets)

i'm not a drummer, but i've seen a living drummer able to play that fast. in singapore. yes, IN SINGAPORE. (a very very very good jazz drummer, some of you probably know), so, TS, the flash will be even faster, hahah. u shud go around and observe first before making quick judgements.
despite his speed, although he's got the groove and fast, but in my untrained (i'm not a drummer) opinion, some of his skill is still raw. but, damn good for 15 years old, hahah.

it's not the speed but the motion that i was mentioning about...i've seen people play fast but usually using minimal arm motion and more of wrists and a lot of rebound, resulting in almost no arm movement at all. but this kid plays with a lot of arm motion and that's why i say it might be sped up.
i practice everyday and every opportunity i have. i think you all are also judging my playing without having actually met me before..seriously. i admit i might have been wrong about him speeding up the videos. so therefore i'm a sucky drummer? i think not..
