The Roland JX-1 is a performance and budget keyboard with some editing capabilities that came out in the early '90s. Its sounds are classic of that era and many are reminiscent of other classic Roland synths like the
D-50, the U-20 and the D-70. While it can't be considered a full synthesizer, it offers easy access to the most important editing parameters, and sports the classic Roland bender/mod paddle.
