I'm using a Cube30, the old one before the X series. Has quite a few amp models, effects can only have 2 active at the same time, modulation and delay/reverb.
For practice, it's more than sufficient in my opinion. Can get quite loud and the sound is decent enough. Cleans nothing stellar, a bit sterile. The amp distortion doesn't have the warmth of a nice tube amp but should be good enough for home practice use.
If you don't use effects much, the onboard fx should probably be sufficient. For modulation side there's chorus, phaser, flanger and tremolo. Note that you can only have 1 active modulation though. There's also delay/reverb, same deal, one active only. Delay doesn't cut it if you're into music with heavy delay, e.g. U2. Don't expect to get dotted eight delays from it if that's what you're looking for, the turn-the-knob-for-more-delay doesn't really cut it.... The onboard reverb is okay, nothing to praise about.
All in all, a decent practice amp, good if you just wanna plug in and play without setting up numerous pedals and tweaking stuff. If you're looking for performance quality and tone, should probably look elsewhere...
