Gilarock.com presents ROCK THE HAUS, two consecutive Fridays of live music entertainment featuring some of the brightest and emerging original bands in Singapore.

Held at Gas Haus, the venue fast becoming an institution of original Singapore music, Rock The Haus will be the first to feature the BOSE P.A.S. (www.bose.com) as the primary amplification system, kindly supplied by Soundwaves Multimedia
(www.soundwavesmm.com) with audio production by Wayne Thunder (The Suns) and #1 music producer Leonard Soosay.

Tune in to 987fm “Home” on Saturdays 7pm-8pm and Tuesdays 2am-3am to catch exclusive interviews and tracks from some of the featured bands.

just to clarify, yes the bose p.a.s. is only for the two rock the haus shows on jan 26 and feb 2. if it does what its supposed to do, then maybe we'll see more of it, but for my part it's just an opportunity that i'm trying out and looking forward to hearing the result.

nb!! i didn't even ask for the two gigs, i was asked!! busting my ass, kena messed about by bands who cannot make up their mind, getting all the bands coverage on radio, putting out press release, conducting online interviews, putting hard earned money and time into it for what will likely be zero returns, still kena what dodgy label. tsk tsk! i'd rather stick to being a dodgy musician.

We all is Dodgy Gig Organizer. It's better to brand yourself as such cuz some young kids who formed a band plays at your show and are not happy that they are treated as rock stars, not obliging to their every whims will log onto an Internet forum and bitch about how bad you are... and how dodgy you can be as well.

haha carlos! i never singled out any particular band ah! :]

it takes more much than one band to create a frustrating situation by my standards! to nip this in the bud, i will categorically state that you and gse never gave me any reasonable reason to feel "mucked about".

besides, with regard to that, don't forget i'm a musician first and foremost so i understand in most cases why we have to make the decisions we do. i've done the same. that's why i still prefer being a dodgy musician ;]
