oh man, that has to be the greatest gig of the year once again! haha made tones of new friends...
the moshing was insane... and the body surfing... whew super tiring day. 1 day like this = 1 month's worth of excercise... haha
super stuff, i've got some footage and pics, but they're quality ain;t that great... only captured the starting bands just before dusk haha the crowd went too crazy after that, didn't want to risk my moshed camera being moshed again... i'll upload them to youtube once i'm done editin' them...

Those montage and clips shown were really touching...got me teary-eyed when watching them...and could see Wayne's family members getting emotional and all...but I'm sure they're proud of Wayne's impact on the local scene and being an inspiration for so many people...
Oh...I thought the idea of displaying Wayne's drumset high up on the 2nd level was really really cool and symbolic
Yup...those body-surfing looked fun and all...but I'm too tiny to do that lah...wait tomorrow no energy for jamming :lol:

Justin steered the ship last night. He shared with us the vision he had to glam up the entire showand make it even more meaningful to everyone, to both the organising comm, the bands, crew and the audience

We'll be releasing a RFW DVD soon and it'll feature 1-2 songs from each band that played at the concert along with the montages you saw last night. It'll be priced at about $25. sabrina - you know i'm definitely looking forward to the DVD. just a qn: are you guys considering/already have plans to release the DVD at retail outlets? it'll be sweeet to see the DVD at places like HMV, straits records, WMUM etc etc..
(some kind of distribution tie-in with labels? i'm just blindly suggesting since i know nuts about that
)

woohoo. last nite was gila... the surfing was insane. the bands were great. and the people were awesome too. hehehe. wah visa... we had to lift up the big daddy at the end. haha.

nah. the guy wasnt me. i was one of the "carriers" of the big dude. haha.
the line-up... i think force vomit was in between AVA and west grand... other than that, i think its correct..
