RIP My MP3 Player...

Argh...my 128mb creative muvo player died today...cannot on already...used new battries, still cannot on...anyone experienced that before? The thumb-drive component which can be plugged to the computer still works, still can put files in it...etc. But does it mean my mp3 player is but a thumb drive now? :?

if still under warranty send back to creative to fix? alot of times they do a 1 on 1 exchange to avoid complicated issues..

oops...i cant find any warranty card leh...it probably didnt come with warranty...since i got it at the first creativex sale, i think, about 1 year plus(maybe 2 years?) ago...damn...i forgot everything.

warrenty card isnt needed. email them with your model number and they will check. worked for me and they found it was under 1 yr (i bought it from someone who got it in the SH promo and didnt have warrenty card) and they still replaced it on the spot

lol...most unfortunately...the serial number printed on the thumb drive portion has feded into a hint of black ink...unless u mean, just tell them the model, like for my case, Creative MuVo TX FM 128mb.

if the mp3 stops working, atleast you still have a 128mb thumbdrive...
haf you tried reformatting it?
mine went haywire last time. cant on. plug it in at home, found unknown folders innit. reformat it, and it works...
