ringing sound on guitar

how do i make the ringing sound on guitar. like eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. like the feedback stuff.

turn up the gain on your amp and stand near it..

or you could do it like me, holding a note and placing the pickups very very near the amp..

i dunno whether its just for my guitar or what, but when i ring a chord, then i turn my guitar upside down, the feedback comes out! anyone has this?
