ringing bass string

hey there frriends my 4th string has a ringing sound upon hitting an open note these days.itll be reall great if you guys can helllp me out.cheers!!

4th string as in the G? and what do you mean by ringing? if it's a buzzing sound, it might be that the nut is cut too deep or something, since it's on an open note.

it could be alot of things but unfortunately it's not easy to identify the problem... best to take it to a luthier

most of the good guitar shops have... i would try KC at zen/maestro. i have sent my stuff to him in the past. he's not there everyday though, got some kind of schedule u can check
