Ring for pickup...need help...!!!

anyone can tell me what is different if i use a different brand of ring for the pickup...because i want to change my pickup, and i plan to use the Dimazio ring for the pickup....by the way, any friends could tell me where i can find the Dimazio ring or Gibson...thank you

you only need to change the pickup mounting bracket if it doesn't accomodate the replacement pickup.

ermm... i believe he's asking for pickup mounting ring recommendation, not pickup recommendation. in any case, i dont think EMG would give nice cleans... but that's another discussion altogether.
