rickenbacker owners!

any fans? im looking to purchase the 360/12 c63 as well as the 325 c58. just wondering where you guys got your rics from? i found

1) http://www.rickenbacker-asia.com

2) as well as musiciansfriend. but i know shipping from musiciansfriend is gonna cost a freaking bomb. shipped a drumset before. they totally ripped me off. plus the vconcierge thing costs quite a lot too.

the first option should set me back approx 5k per guitar, which is fine by me. definitely cheaper than musiciansfriend.

what im really afraid of is the shitty kauffman vibrato provided on the 325 c58. im looking to replace it with a normal bridge and an r tailpiece if possible. the bigsby mod freaks me out (drilling holes in the guitar). but i have no idea where to get those parts... anyone?

hope this would be a good resource for future and current rickenbacker owners.

EDIT: oh yes, anyone knows where to get bigsby units in Singapore? i may go that route anyway

the normal production models are slightly cheaper. the Capris are overpriced, not to mention the freaking kauffman vibrato is completely useless. i would get a 330 if i weren't such a Beatle nut, or i would get it anyway in the future

i got my 330/12 from ebay, second hand but in superb condition with hardcase, for about 2.6k.

sadly, i find it difficult to play and can only play so many tunes with it. roger mcguinn i'm definitely not.

plastic: i found nothing at the ishibashi site, not to mention i can hardly navigate it, haha

blackstar: wow a 330/12, thats great. personally i've never tried a 12-stringed guitar but i'm certain if i get the 360/12C63 that i'll be blinded by my love for the Beatles and play it all the time anyway haha

anyway, I've emailed the dealer and they only have the mapleglo Lennon model in stock, and the jetglo one is supposedly 24 months backordered. .. wtf.

so i've decided to get the normal 330 in JG and the 360/12C. will get the lennon model for christmas then. can't freaking wait.
