Yeah...it was quiet boring. But some bands did played some good remix.

Next heats will be this Saturday @ Ang Mo Kio.

The set up was a bit too lousy at first...pity the first three band...but anyway ROCKVIVAL is good!! they played a 70s songs to "rock gila" if there was a genre haha

There's a angmoh guitarist/vocalist from a group called karas (not sure of the spelling, but sounds like it), he looked 80% Malmsteen! Would have given him full score if he had swapped his LP for a strat :lol:

heard on radio today x-tech got 2nd highest on sms votes

they should be in the finals... not surprised if they even win it!

they got powerhouse singer and their bassist won best bassist in yamaha asian beat grand final.

did anyone catch their performance during the prlim round?

X-tech were the,IMHO,outstanding in terms of stage presence and tightness in the prem rounds at Toa Payoh and they did an awesome nu-metal rendition of the Beatles "come together".I think the singer used to be in a band called Feizfonik and the bassist used to be in in a band called Eudora.And seriously they should be in the top final three bands,if not 1st the least.

wah... Feizfonik is a legend... the members are with Aegyptie now. awesome!!!

and Eudora is local Nightwish.. crazy drummer n guitarist too!
