RGT220H

Yes... I saw one in Music Gallery... but its ridiculously prices... 2k and more. But thats the first model run, so it has the off center fret dot inlays and they are larger too.

Can't rem seeing one in Swee Lee at all....

it seems that what you saw is the discontinued RGT2020, often confused with the new (2005) RGT220... the latter didn't make it on the last swee lee Ibanez shipment.

Yes, i saw that too.

please check it out from The Guitar Gallery @35 Selegie Road #02-02 Parklane Shopping Mall for RGT2020.

Hope this might help.

Yes... 2200++ something like that. You should go down and check it out yourself.. or you can call them. Phone Number(Find it out from Yellowpages)

im waitting for guitar gallery to have a closing down sale.. then i will sweep in and buy some cool shit. such insane prices..i wonder how they survive... haizzz

Hey Sub,

Its the older model (A) thats found in guitar gallery. It should cost less than the newer model... and its looks nicer with the big off set dots!

i saw something similar at swee lee MFO. the one at sims drive. It's inside the glass room. Might wanna go there to check out the prices if u guys want. and i wanna know the price too.

look carefully, guitar B is the newer model, it has NO offset fretboard markers. i'm just trying to reiterate that guitar B isn't here yet, what we see in the stores are guitar A 8) i hope i've not offended anybody...

in any case, yes, the RG2020 lists for more than $2K because it's neck-through model...

yup i've tried the RG2020 last year, it's a typical RG feel, with immaculate upper fret access due to the neck-through design. however, it's not the typical skinny-neck affair as the 2020 sports an Ultra neck. this year's version, the 220, has a default Wizard neck instead.

another cosmetic difference to take note with regards to the RG220 is the headstock finish. unlike its predecessor, the headstock has a rosewood laminate instead of a black, lacquered finish.

this 2005, the 220 is offered in 2 manifestations: mahogany/ ash. if the ash version is as good as i've anticipated it to be, then it'll be another RG in my collection... 8)
