hi i m lookin at the RG350ex and RG370DX...wadf is the diff?on the website they hav the same specs?wad is the diff btween EX and DX?

the 370 is a pickguard-less 350. RG350 review is available @ SOFT database...

get the RG350EX. it looks sexy, plus it has a pickguard.

the specs for both guitars are the same. using INF pickups.

bonus: get the RG350EX! looks like vai's guitar

ok now i kinda relised the rg350(black one) is silver hardware...anyone know where to get up to that quality black hardware?

Ibanez does not have black hardware anymore. Its illegal in Japan to use the black finish/paint.... what they use is Cosmo, which is what you see on most RGs, that grey-ish/silver-ish finish that wears off very very fast.

Dunno.. Some debate on it happened on Jemsite a few years back, citing something to do with the chemicals used.

kahuna, there are NO edge III units available in Black finish. If you wish, you may search for a NOS / Used Edge unit and then route your cavity to accomondate it.

I dislike Ibanez's cosmo finish immensely. Looks aside, it just doesn't last for many of us....

If you don't mind a Yamaha guitar, consider the RGX420 with one with a mini toggle switch for direct output (bridge humbucker striaght to output) switching.

Its 24 frets, H-H, 5 way switch, licensed floyd (pretty decent I must add, black paint), alder body, maple neck with rosewood fretboard.

Impressive quality for the $600 (around there) price tag.

Check them out @ Plaza Singapura or Tampines Mall.



Don't bother with the newer RGXs that sport the finger clamp-ing floyd roses... crap.

Davis does not have schaller.
