Reversing the strings.

Has anyone here restrung a left handed guitar to make it right handed, so that you can play it? Like what Hendrix does, except he strings a right handed guitar to be left handed.

Has anyone here restrung a left handed guitar to make it right handed, so that you can play it? Like what Hendrix does, except he strings a right handed guitar to be left handed.

i've never done that but i would think that such a modification would be large scale and hard to reverse, unless you are using a floyd rose guitar as you would need to do 2 things

1) reverse the nut. you would have to install a new nut(right hander nut) to ensure that the strings can fit into the slots properly

2) reverse the saddles

i am not sure if that will be sufficient though
