REVERB VS WAH

hello! i am thinking of getting a new pedal.

i currently have a jnh and h2o. which pedal would you think would be more useful for me? a reverb or wah pedal? i play mostly punk/rock/pop

i believe the H20 has delay.

As the delay does sorta play an ambient role - like a reverb would.

a wah will be a better choice.

i think a multi efx would suits you better.

from the way you phrase your question, it seems that you dont know what you need for your kinnda music. instead, just having some spare cash to spend on a new pedal. know what you really want before parting with your cash.

my take on reverb is this- it's better over at the amp than manifested as a pedal.

And among amps, I find more warmth in the original tube reverb, than the circuit reverbs.

but to me the reverb is best served in the form of a big room.
amp reverb depends largely on the circuit and type of reverb.

for example.. the reverbs on both my 5150 and fender deluxe reverb both cannot be turned past 3 ..after that it sounds off...

just tweak your H20 man .. its a great pedal. buying without knowing exactly what u want is like fighting without a cause. theres always two sides to a coin. So best bet is to go to shops and try and try and try some more. till you are ok with putting money down for something. Many of us here have wasted thousands on trial and error.

the delay on your H2O could be set to emulate a reverb kind of sound, so I think a wah would be better in this case.
