No - I mean polish the shell with a Drum Polish or Guitar polish - never use water...

u mean the wrap part or the wooden part (inner part)?

on the otter - Wrap or Varnish area...not inside of the shell.

Eric, u were right abt Autosol. I've used the Autosol om my 12" tom's hoop to remove rust. Yes, it works like magic but after few months, the hoops is turning yellowish at some part. I didnt know that Brasso works for chrome as I thought Brasso is just for Brass material.
