removing pickup?

another FAQ-ed asked by me...

anybody know how much it'll cost to remove my bridge pickup? my bass has a P-J pickup config. and also, i would like to put like a "lid" over the cavity after it's removed, like u know, tom delonge's ES-335's neck pickup.

actually can DIY ... you're a DnT student right? .. get a solder and just solder out the wires from the J pickup lorh .. after that just pull it out .. after that the bridge pickup vol won't work .. that's it .. =) .. cheap and easy way out ..
