Market rate is around $40-$50 an hour.
How long depends on how good you are. Can take from 2 hours to 10 hours, or more.

I am from soundbites. We have recording services @ $80 /hr.

When recording, do not forget to factor in mixing and mastering timings into your cost calculations.
