recording with soundcard

how to record using creative audigy soundcard> i have an audigy platinum ex but i dunno how to use it record..anybody can help?

This is what most of the time will work for most sound cards.

1) Plug mic into mic input (usually red, not sure of the Aud platinum ex has 1/4" or XLR input but its usually a 3.5mm jack)
2) Open volume panel.
3) Go "option" properties.
4) Change to Recording
5) The mic fader now represent the lvl for the mic that is coming into ur system.
6) Use any audio software to do ur recording.
