Hey people of SOFT. Wanna start doing my own recordings and stuff. Need some recommendations for all-rounder condenser mics. Budget's around $200 and below. So yeah...and just another note. Does anyone know where to get MXL mics and stuff? Your help's much appreciated. THANK YOU!

I believe Resolution's got MXL stuff, and even Citymusic has some select models. Can also try Hung brothers. Personally, I bought my MXL V67G from Amazon.com. Worked out to be a lot cheaper. hope you find yours! cheers

I have that too but when recording need close windows, fans and stuff cause sometimes microphone too sensitive also no good. After recording, i don't know how to edit to get those sounds like those singers de album de quality.

yes that's why you need an acoustically treated room, but to make up for it, you need to isolate as much noise as possible like fans/aircons/outside noise, and use makeshift closet/mattress to prevent sound from bouncing too much off walls.

check out www.myspace.com/ingride , the vocalist used AT2020 DIY record in his bedroom. but I mixed/mastered.

Great work on the mixing/mastering Ron!... I'm totally tripping on this tight band Ingride!

Wondering if the vocalist overdubbed/used any fx?
