i'm a filthy liar... zzz... someone FLAME me!!!!!!!!! but to be SERIOUS!!!! mama i'm coming home's a pretty easy and good song to learn, no shredding involved... and yeah, crazy train's one of my favourite songs... :D but i cant play it :(

Try solos from bands like AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Cream. The reason being that the solos from their songs have rhythm too, one very important thing to note and learn is groove, so you would want to be able to apply rhythm in a lead context as well. Hope this helps(:

If you listen to MUSE, you'll come to realize that their songs sound awesome but their solos are so simple. Some don't even have solos. But nonetheless, IMHO, they're the best Live band ever.

So in short, anything by MUSE

Muse is simple , but personally I find the 1st part of Hysteria's solo to be abit tricky.. Needs concentration.
I'm a newbit guitarist too , playing for like 4~6 months , and the first solo I ever learned was Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold , so.. I guess it mustn't be too difficult of a solo , haha.

Play solos that you really really like , because you would be familar with how it sounds like , so you won't be looking at the tab and wondering "what the hell am I playing?" , since most tabs don't really indicate rhythm in them .

Anyway ,
21st Century Breakdown and 21 Guns by GD is pretty simple.. Really simple , in fact.
The first part of Dream Theater's The Best of Times is simple as well , but after the sweep picking comes in.. You know it's time to wait for a few more months to play it.. xD

Any Nirvana such as 'Nevermind' album. The lead guitar solo usually follows the vocal melody so makes it very easy to remember, plus Kurt's lead technique quite basic (while still effective) so relatively easy to copy.
