Recommend me an acoustic...

Imo, I think the Maestro SD-1 is a excellent full sounding guitar for its value. Mahgony body and indian rosewood fretboard. A very full warm sounding tone for the price of $229.

You've got to try it out to really hear the differences between it and the regular yamahas. The shape and sunburst finish are also plus points. imo, I think the Yamaha's are a lil overpriced for its products.

baby taylor? unless u can get a big baby, dun bother...

Why do you say that? My Baby is *My Baby*. I play that more than some of my expensive guitars sometimes because it so easy to get on with and sounds great.

yamama

Yeah I bought APX 5 from music plaza and I played it for a year, tried everything, asked engineers to tweak my sound for me on stage. Only thing I havent done is change to fishman pickups.... Another way is to let it run thro a Baggs DI with equalizer. It works wonders man.... Adam Lee recommended it to me.... But on its own, its highs are irritating.

You can get a full body semi-acoustic Takamine at Davis for 600. Nice warm sound.

But to me Taylor still the best. Dont buzz with amazingly low action.

Hiya guys,

He's looking for a 300++ guitar right?

Lets us recommend suitable guitars for the price range.

If i have 300 - 400, what's good will be:

Maestro ED-1 $399 only. Sitka Spruce A Solid Top, Mahagony back n sides

Maestro SD-2 $299 only. Sprue Top and Mahagony back and sides. Sloop Shoulder for the beetles sound =)

Cheers
