the S5470 is available in swee lee, i bought mine during the sale (in red viking flat ), and there was another there. unless they're all sold out

highly recommended guitar. it's going for about 3.2k sticker price at swee lee, so do the maths

that's not sexy. We are talking about the oil finish one

oh okay my bad swee lee only carries non-sexy guitars. tough luck finding the oil finish model there, they don't carry it sorry. =/ btw only the TKS and BBK finishes seem to be available in singapore. judging by the ibanez webby, maybe it'll take a while before they get the new colours, and the S5470F.

not to mentioned ridiculously overpriced. i can get the SOL (stained oil finish) version from musician's friend for only 1299 USD excluding shipping. Just wanna try the guitar first before buying. since you said swee lee has one, i shall pop by and take a look!

yeah i guess it's pretty overpriced. i'm estimating the cost at 3.2k cos i bought it during the sale and paid 1.6k, so it shld be about right. good luck on finding it though

hmm since you have it alr bro, just curious to know hows the sustain on the s5470? any issues?

nothing noticeable until around 20th frets and up, then the note will die out slightly faster than other guitars. but it's not as drastic as it's made out to be.

I read up that the sustain issue is probably due to 2 things:

1) The middle pickup has a crapload of magnet pull, and is killing the sustain
2) The initial runs of S5470s are somewhat lemons, but since then, I think it's been resolved.
