im looking for a 24fret electric guitar, twist is, it HAS to be HSH or HH and HASSSS to have a reliable floyd-style tremolo.. GO!

Midrange (<1.2K after discounts): Ibanez RG3xx series, PGM3 and JEM Jr (Note for PGM3 and JEM Jr: go for the indo made ones, the koreans has stock crappy floyd. Only go for the korean if the trem is stated to have been changed to for example, a Gotoh Floyd), RGT42

Above midrange: Ibanez RG1570, RG1527 (if your looking for a 7), Fender Highway1 Showcaster, can be found in Sweelee Aljunied

Highend: Ibanez RG2xxx or RG3xxx series, S5470, RG1820X (if you want piezo)

You can also go for 2nd hand RG550/570/620/770 etc.

and is that the showcaster or showmaster*? there's a wiki article on the showmaster, but it doesn't seem to be anywhere on the fender site..

popeye, that guitar has only 22 frets and not 24 frets like the threadstarter stated in his requirements. Sharkfin inlays, edge lopro trem and the custom made logo can only mean one thing: S540. And all S540s come with 22 frets

Nope, 24 frets. Available in H-S-S or H-H Config, Floyd Rose. It's a discontinued model. I'm not talking about the Showmaster Elite, but the Highway1 Showmaster. Different guitars.

the S5470 is available in swee lee, i bought mine during the sale (in RVF with buried walnut top ), and there was another there. unless they're all sold out

highly recommended guitar. it's going for about 3.2k sticker price at swee lee, so do the maths
