Recommend me a guitar

im looking for a cheap and good guitar that can do well in both heavy rock/metal songs and pop rock songs...
im lookng for a fixed bridge or string through only...
is there any good ones from LTD or wadeva...
pls recommend

I've tried the LTD M-10, which goes for $300 odd, which isnt bad for that price, the disadvantage is that it only has 22 frets and not 24.

Since we talking about LTD's here, anyone know of any fixed bridge LTD's around 700-800. I only saw one EC(unsure of which model) which cost 850.

that's subjective/personal; a guitar isn't worst off by virtue of having lesser number of frets...

Haha, yeah, thats true, but I know of some guys who cant live with 24 frets. Even I have issues with having 21 frets at times.
