recommend me a good webcam

as above. my budget is about $40, and i want a camera which doesn't lag under contrast and brightness. my genius webcam has this problem where it will lag when i place myself at a certain position where there is light. and my room has a big ass window where the sun shines. i cant get curtains either, it will be damn stuffy.

if you have seen some of my videos already (my covers of trivium..), i tend to record early in the day where there isnt so much sunlight, and i dont record in the evening as i also have to switch on my room light.

im looking for a camera for small home recording projects where i record myself playing covers and my own guitar playing. i have a very good audio programme called audacity, where it records my guitar lined-in loud and clear.

go to challenger! man i forgot what model and brand my webcam is. but its small and around 30bucks. even lesser with member!

why not get it from sim lim i usually see them showing off their webcams but i dont know which one is which judging from the many on display and not knowing which is connected to the screen

yeah sim lim. those kinda shops display a number of webcams then got one screen they show one of the cameras output. same goes for laptops. suddenly with the emerge of laptops coming with in built webcams, those shops which displays them on the webcam.

but then again dont expect much from cheap2 webcams. but i saw one good one, microsoft. but heh its 150bucks. no lag and so many2 functions and features.

Try a Creative webcam, it's only $30. It works well for me, clear and not lagged.

increase your budget higher abit~...well not lag, can, lighting must be very gd! as good as under the Sun, surely u see smooth video !

i agree with mus. i saw a webcam selling at $29 while buying an mp3 player. not sure if it's good but from bro mus' words, seems like good.
