Recommend a Guitar

Hi guys,

I'm currently looking for a new guitar that cost less than $600(very tight budget though). What I'm interested in is a guitar with a heavy sound. Most of my influences are from post hardcore bands.

Any recommendations? I dont mind second hand guitars too. By the way, is it possible to grab a Flying V with such low budget?

An ibanez RG sounds suitable, or a used esp ltd, or an epiphone flying V. Do you need a tremolo?

Schecter neckthrough 600 not enough man....Maybe this will be a good bet....Ibanez RG321

Post-hardcore doesn't need a Dean. Looks out of place. I feel the same way about Ibanez RGs. Too metal in design. But that is just my opinion haha.

For post-hardcore, actually a Les Paul seems the best choice. Lots of post-hardcore guitarists use Les Pauls or some variants. Perhaps a secondhand LTD Eclipse, Made-in-Korea Epiphone LP (not easy to find at this budget but one pops up every now and then) or even the Rally Les Paul copies at Standard Value. The Rallys are well-recommended but I have yet to get the time to try one out myself.
