recomendations on usb2/firewire mixer for recording

M-Audio ProjectMix I/O

Hello!

I own a M-Audio ProjectMix I/O.

Getting automated faders of this quality combined with 8 pre-amps plus the hardware controls for running fast recording workflow is awsome. Time is money and this unit gives all the benefits of saving time on mixdown, mastering etc etc...

This has the easiest setup of any unit I have used recently. I used it to run Pro-Tools before I got the DigiDesign 003 and Sonar on a MacBook Pro for total studio portability.

Highly recommended piece of equipment for any home recording studio, be it Professional or Amateur.

NRV-10 vs. Project Mix I/O

Does anyone have any real world experience with the M-Audio NRV10?

I'm basically looking for a compact, cost-effective, mobile recording solution to use with Logic on MacBook, but that can also double for the front-end of my home studio when not recording live....

I'd be interested for anyone who could weigh in on comparing the NRV10 vs the Project Mix as well.

Thanks in advance...

M
