Sold my yamaha ms50dr,not loud enough when jamming as my other amp is at least 65 watt and at max sound it is distorted.tried wharfadle PAsystem but the cymbal sound is horrible,tried with a JBL subwoofer and bose bookself speaker cymbal sound was bad and bass sound horrible.Hook up to my applause 50 watt amp,smarvo 75 watt amp,Peavey scorpion 65 watts amp and peavey transtube 65 watt amp and a peavey 200 watt full range speaker tried using a 20 band equalizer all FAIL.
Looking at Yamaha MS100Dr but some softies told me it is overprice for that kind of quality($1000) had a look at roland but the price is super steep 2.2k aft discount.So please tell me my other option.and thanks for any feedback.
I am using a yamaha dtxprees 1 and 3 module on a dtxpress 3 pad with surge cymbal.Thanks for any input
