Reccomendation for guitar <$1000 for guy with small hands

the instrument's versatility is sometimes perceived, especially so when a guitar in hand wins the player's favour more than any others.

so damn true...still rmb the day my teacher told me the strat is the most versatile and i hated it cos of the SCs. now i can't live w/o those SCs and i'd do anything to make the strat do my bidding lol. i think its more abt being more knowledgeable abt the guitar thus knowing how to make the guitar do ur bidding in whatever ure playing.

managed to get hold of the SA2020 while it was still in production- it's one heck of a player...

As they say: tone is in the fingers. My advice to you would be to try out both the SA260FM and the PRS. Maybe if you can snag an SAS36FM that'll be good. I loved the sound of that guitar when i tried it, good thick distortion and the cleans were nice and clear. Not totally strat-esque but pleasing to the ear, nonetheless. I believe its going for just over 1k, can check with Mike@SV.

My advise to you, is to stick to your LP, try to adjust the height of the bridge until its super low-action. I did that for mine and I'm more than happy on my LP Standard. FYI my finger max length is 7.5cm, pretty close to yours ;)

If it still doesn't satisfy you, you may start to look for others. the ibanez RG series are pretty good.

get the ibanez ORM1WH. cfm no problem for ppl with small hands!! if 24inch scale also got problem then can change to baby guitar alr LOL :p

Fender Japan Strats? The standard ones are pretty good, better than the MIM ones IMO. Going only for $799 at Sound Alchemy!
