Well, while I was practicing as usual, there was a really sharp pain in my ring finger, the joint linking the finger to the hand. I sorta felt it pop out? when I tugged on it hard it seemed to pop back in but hurt again once I started playing fast. Anyone ever ran into this problem before. Not exactly the first time it happened.

woa bro. u better go check it out with a doctor. i had a similar case like that expect mine was fractured. yours should be the joint linkage problem. take care of yourself bro, if not you can't shred your guitar anymore.:???:

Yea probably joint linkage problem, feels like my knee, except my knee is missing a ligament. I need to be abit more careful and stop picking up more injuries.

haha. agree man. take care bro. oh and if you wanna play without hurting try getting something to prevent your finger from like moving out of its joint or something like that.

wah sounds horrible.. finger pop out :X think you better see a doctor.. this kind of thing cannot play around later actually minor injury but keep delay treatment become serious injury ..

agree with faekildare.

the symptoms of trigger finger!

i just recover from trigger finger surgery recently 3weeks ago.
it is the second time i have trigger finger again.
yes it is painful when your finger clicks in.

just google -- trigger finger and you will find out more about it.
see your G.P. about it asap.

take care, my friend.
you can call me if you need to know more about the trigger finger.

Wah Beez, it has been a long time since I saw your last post here. I hope you recover well from your surgery ;) Will visit your store soon :)

Hey, I work in an Orthopaedic clinic at Gleneagles Hospital.
Like they've said, you probably have a trigger finger.
Well, for a fast and assured cure to this is definitely a surgery, where they would release the restricted tendon.

Fo non surgical ways are either physiotherapy or NSAIDs medication.
I could get some anti-inflammatory medicine if you need.
Maybe try it out first and see how it goes.

Or would you like to pop by our clinic to have it checked?
Or perhaps an injection to bring down the inflammation?
I can tell my doctor that you're a friend and get some discount for you... :) hehehe

Stop playing for the time being and go to the doctor ah..
try to minimize permanent damage

I had a dislocated right pinky when i was young. I popped it back and din really see the doc.
i feel that it's not as good as it used to be (stiffer than before the accident).

take care man :).

I'm getting scared already, I think I'll head down to a GP when I'm free. Shit, ANOTHER SURGERY?! I already need to go for one to get my ACL fixed. Someone doesn't like me.

Hahahaha. Anyway, no one hated you. ACL tear is very very very very common.
Once had 6 patients coming in for that in just a day.

Dude I don't play soccer, i got my ACL torn at the fencing nationals in the middle of a competition. How screwed is that! haha
