Being hearing a lot of people talking about the legend, Jimi Hendrix.
Personally, i have not heard any of his songs. So went to a
music shops to browse around.

Come across this two albums, ARE YOU EXPERIENCED? and
AXIS: BOLD AS LOVE. Thought of buying one to try it out.

Which album should get though?

Thought of buying both of them but afraid i might not like it, and
ended up wasting my money.

so sad. The great guitarists like SRV, Hendrix died when they are on their top performance.

Hendrix was so great beause he was so ahead for his time. Extremely creative with effects. lyk voodoo child and al along the watchtower.
His performances were also very good.

He was an innovator at that time, he made the guitar a center of attraction. And the way he uses feedback to play a tune, is still awe inspiring. His wild performances were also groundbreaking then, like the burning of his guitar at the Montery pop festival and smashing it to pieces.

all in all, he is the trend setter then..... cool eh.. smashing guitar on stage... So most of the rock guitarist now follow his footstep...

Actually, Pete Townshend of The Who (which songs are used as all the CSI theme songs) started a few years earlier than Hendrix, smashing guitars... But then again, those stuff were pretty cheap back then... He has this move called the windmill which has to be seen to be believed... :lol:
