Erm i often gets easily sweat with my bass, although i clean after i play (like few hours later), but the strings still gets rusty esp at the G string heavily rust... Are there any Anit- Rust Bass Strings such as Elixir do they make bass strings? Or services that provide Restring services? Thousands thanks if you've read and reply....

super corrosive sweat. but most roundwound strings are either stainless steel or nickel. elixers are coated with a thin film of plastic.

elixir bass strings are very exp!! wow.

ok i need find some good bass strings too. any "harder to rust" strings that cost below $30? dun really expect anti rust one.

well if you get a set of DR strings it is around 45-50, so for the sake of really long lasting strings, why not pay a bit more. it might last as long as 2 packs of standard strings.

That, or you could wipe down after each time you play. I've got sweaty palms and i make it a ritual to do that. And any guitar shops do re-stringing, just don't go beyond 30 bucks. But it's best if you learn to restring yourself. It's easy and you save the money for new strings. :)

they are pretty good strings.
good tension. has a nice zing plus its nickel so theres some warmth to it as well.
i used to use d'addarios alot until i found the DR Hibeams (about 50?) i dont remember the price well. then i changed to DR extra life (coated, 62 for a set of 5).
