Rage Against The Machine Sets To Reunite!

its been quite a while already,
there was a thread about this quite a while ago.

now the latest updates : chris cornell is parting with audioslave.

It'd be good to see RATM back together again, regardless of it being old news or now.

no prob, we can actually ask the mods to take it down and just discuss in the thread started by AY bro.

fyi, chris cornell isn't worth of concern whether is he staying on as their roadie or crooning in the tour coach

I don't think its the other three members...they sorta like jamming buddies...what I read is that Chris called the final shot..I mean, that guy always leaves a band halfway and pursue his solo career..

I'm sad that Audioslave is no more..eventhough the last record was so-so..it did carry the Audioslave feel...

bro edo83 bro, aiyah, I like Chris Cornell but the decision to cover each other's previous band work was horrendous.

Cornell TRYING to do 'Killing In The Name Of' was just pathetic.

Precisely man, Zach was getting his point across in his songs.....Cornell was singing for the sake of singing. How to dey.......

Actually, I've always found Zach de la Rocha's politics to be immature. 'Killing...' is inherently still a party song.

But then I still like his spirit and he kickstarted a fashion trend too!

yeah his lyrics are somewhat kinda straight forward...just doesn't have the deep value..but that is what RATM is about anyways...stick it to the man!

wooit....

Cornell and Zach are two different singers from different genres

Cornell is more into grunge and rock...

Zach de la Rocha suits more into... er..... RATM style...

it is sad that audioslave is goin to disband..... but more of RATM pls!!

BULLS ON PARADE!!!

would really like to see soundgarden coming back too...

AEnimic, it's not about the lyrics whatsoever? Imagine the irony of a rock star preaching about Marxism? That you are funded by a 'capitalist' record label? I donch know about you lah.

And hanging the Viet-cong flag and potraits of Che Guevera prolly push greater sales of these 2 images (moving them into the pop culture/ mainstream consciousness) than anything else.

I find it laughable... but I still love Rage lah.

bro edo83 bro, it is lah. I wish I was going with my friends to Coachella to catch them live. Those bastards...

yeah bro AY, I really get what you mean la...that "stick it to the man" is kinda like the reason they're popular..and they were also under a major record label..

but still....
I rikes Tom...

and if Soundgarden comes back,it will not have that mystic angst that they used to have...I just cnt see Chris Cornell doing another Jesus Christ Pose or Rusty Cage...

however they would be playing things like Burden In My Hand and such..which kinda KILLS Soundgarden...don't get me wrong,Chris is a brilliant musician..but I just don't seem to like his mellow acoustic-rock stuff..some songs are good..but over time..I don't like them.

if they were to reunite, they need to find Thayil...
