I´m not sure about the cash converters deal though, so you gotta ask some other axe-experts around here. But I kinda roughly know the ans to the second question.

A Drop-D tuning means dropping the bass E strings (which is the 1st strings from the top) to D (2 semitones down). So instead of the standard tuning:

E A D G B E

A Drop-D tuning would be :

D A D G B E

This tuning is commonly used by punk rockers, nu-metal bands etc. Its easier to play the power chords too coz you just have to bar the particular fret to get the power chord. If you aren´t sure, you can ask some other people and stuff or even private message me.

As for E flat tuning, E flat (Eb) is also D sharp (D#). So..... basically, you tune all the strings one semitone down from standard

E A D G B E

To E flat or also known as D sharp tuning

D# G# C# Bb D#

Btw... if you don´t know... E flat (Eb) is D sharp (D#), like... ermmm.... C sharp (C#) is D flat (Db).

I hope this helps.... correct me if i have any mistakes ya?

Well, dude after you purchase any stuff, it´s kind of late to focus on whether being cheated or anything. Just have fun and enjoy your guitar. Thoug you might want to take a look at some pickups.

I am of the opinion that the guitar in question could be had for less, maybe $220… I’ve sold off my GSA & GAX ibanez guitars both for <$240… hope you have a decent amp to manifest your guitar potentials…
