Question about locking tuners.

Hi, if I were to install Sperzel locking tuners on my guitar, would I need to drill new holes in the headstock?

It depends on whether your axe's headstock fits them.

it's my backup guitar. A Hamer CX-2. The dude I was looking to buy the tuners from was telling me that extra small holes have to be drilled. He wasn't talking about the peg holes which are already existent.

be careful when unscrewing the disc thingy, if you unscrew it too much it may not screw back in again

For machine head installation, usually its 35. For sperzels, due to the extra time taken to locate the pin hole, we charge 50. Thanks for the heads up MrRhoads, hope you are happy with the installation.

Btw, did you put the sperzels on the Tremonti SE?
