Question about how to play Metallica's song

I am wondering how to play that Metallica's song, Memory remains,

the part when James goes 'la la la' , that background guitar part. It was found at the ending of the song.

Was it played harmonics or what?? I want to learn that short but cool guitar lick.

with the tabs you should know the key.

that part of the song, kirk plays in the same key and tune with the vocals.

so with the key you might wanna spend sometime figuring out by ear.
