RAHH. plus everything , omg.

shinobi , how much it cost you ? including the shipping and taxes ? and if i wanna order one , what i need to do ? thanks.

how does delivery company inform you and pay GST? Does SingPost send you a mail and pay with credit card online or you collect at post office and pay GST? Do you need photo ID to collect?

can someone mark out the steps to order one from that site ? from ordering , paying and where to collect etc etc..

guess will really helps people here : )

I dont know the gst part, havnt received mine. hope those who had ordered from them before can give some enlightenment.

Whereas for the ordering of guitar, just email them what guitar you want and ask for price. They will tell you the total cost of shipping & guitar. And you will have to fill up your credit card particulars on a secure page. After which also replied them the particulars of the buyer, address etc.

They are all very nice people. really good customer service. just check with them if you are unsure about anything.

Btw, for the conversion rate, its better you check with your credit card company, they differ from those you found online
eg. http://www.xe.com/ucc/

I ordered guitars from them but ship to UK; I can pay import duty and VAT (GST) online. It was very convenient and fast.
You will not get 78JPY for 1 S$ because that is actually market rate and credit card company usually gives you lower rate e.g. 76 JPY.

oh ok. thanks guys. i just e-mailed them.

would their stuffs be cheaper then sweelee after the sale discount ?

No. Ishibashi is actually expensive after factoring the shipping and tax. If you can find stuff locally, don't bother with them. Ishibashi is good for getting super rare stuff though.

xklusivly4u,

singpost would call you and inform you that you need to pay GST, and how much to pay.

holas,

to order, just email them. they would tell you what to do.
payment by credit card or bank transfer.
singpost can send the stuff to your home.

oh ok. thanks guys. i'm actually eyeing for a mij fender jazz , and luther seems to sell it for 890. And to compare with ishibashi , its much cheaper.

one more thing guys , which is better ? mim or mij ?

thanks.

so we have to go to one of the singpost branch to pay before they deliver the guitars to our place? or we can pay when they deliver to our doorstep? how do we make payment if they deliver to our house?

Why does singpost come into the picture? i thought its delivered right to the doorstep?

So the final cost is : guitar, transport+insurance, and GST?

i use ems . anyway they will just deliver to your doorstep and ask for the gst money. ems is pretty quick, 3 days it reach my home. some bigger branch might take longer acuse they take them to process i guess. i normally get my stuff from auction.co.jp. some stated shipping not avilable to overseas, but normally i pester them and start begging them and stuff 8)

PinkSpId3r , xklusivly4u,

once i remember, another softie mentioned that postman came to his house and collected GST from him. in any case, prepare $$ first better.

i collected mine directly at the post office. paid GST there.

another thing , what about the insurance ? whats it all about and where does this insurance comes in.
