if u see the way they play live shows, it was SLIGHTLY influenced by punk rock

a band starts of playing their influence (blink liked punk rock bands), but as u grow as a musician. your taste may change and u want something difference

hence, blink182 strayed to a more pop-type of music

i dont think punk rock can be defined. some poeple think punk rock is emo, some think its like blink 182, some think its like nofx and other street punk is real punk rock.
so its quite hard to argue about whether a band is punk rock or not since different people have different ideas about what punk rock is.

as i said, bands, are classified based on their influence at times.

if u grow up listening to punk rock, when u form a band..u will consider urself punk rock.

whatever genre u are, only you yourself know.
