just asking. should a novice buy the prs se custom guitar?
and wat good guitar can a novice get with $450 budget?

What genres are you into? Did you try the SE? try as much guitars you can. We cant decide for you.

I'd personally recommend Ibanez's SA series, but at that budget gonna be hard. Not sure if Ibanez produces any more Gio SA series models, but I'd recommend the GSA60. H-S-S config, a light synchronized trem, maple neck, very well-made and powerful tone. I bought mine brand new at $320 but it was a USA finish.

the extent of this chunkiness is quite overblown- it's very playable.
