Promoting Local Music (For Free!!)

Hi everyone! I'm fairly new to Singapore and S.O.F.T. came highly recommended by the local musicians I've been speaking to as a great resource. The reason I'm posting is that I have an opportunity for bands out there to get some serious exposure. You know those plasma screens in McDonalds around Singapore that show boring re-runs of movie previews and trivia? Well that is about to change because the company (@Life Singapore) would like to start using that network to promote local talent: bands, amateur film-makers, designers, etc.

I have been asked to start contacting local bands who might be interested in being profiled (they are looking for 4-5 bands per month).

Basically this will cost you NOTHING, and you have the potential to reach a massive audience (1/2 the population of Singapore each month). In order to do this, you need to have something already recorded (demo, EP, album, whatever) so it can be played on @Life, and you need a gig upcoming so that we can organize someone to film you and possibly give a short interview on your music.

This is definitely not a gimmick, if you guys are serious about getting your music out there, then you want to contact me so we can set something up and I can hear your music. Here are my details, I look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks to everyone who's contacted me so far, the response has been great! I'm going to meet with the guys from @Life again tonight to get more details on exactly what they're looking for, in terms of genre/style etc. so I'll keep everyone updated.
