project Utube: open music resource for Christians

Great initiative. I've received so many pms from different people about keyboard playing in church that I feel keyboard should be a hot topic of discussion.

Stated in the blog its for setting up resources for small group worship. But its different in a service setting. In a small group, there could probably be just a guitarist or a keyboardist serving. Similar to the blogger, Believer Music teaches guitar and keyboard for cell musicians, which is a pretty good initiative already. But its inadequate to equip musicians for service setting, when there are more than 1 instruments coming together.

I think there's a greater need in equipping musicians in the service setting. Ppl who learn guitar or keyboard usually learn in to play solo first (which is adequate in a small group setting)...but many ppl need to learn how shld the guitar, keyboard, bass, drums all interact in service setting. So far, I only know the Music Lab offers band performance studies. But I don't think its for a church worship setting.

If a search is being done on SOFT, I believe that queries on how the instruments interact in worship setting would really be more than how to play singly in small group. I echo Cheez in the great initiative, but may I suggest that the project focus on worship service setting as there is a greater need there?
