Hi all,

I wanna get pedal from proguitarshop. Is there anyone dealing with them before? Is there any GST for it if the price more than 400sing?

need ur advise... thks

there is GST if the price is more than $400sing. you can find details on the customs website..
PGS ships to confirmed paypal addresses.

shipping charge is expensive for all shops abroad. Also, you have to wait for the item to be delivered. Try to find the pedal here in singapore if you can.

What pedal(s) are you looking to purchase? Check out www.tonefactor.com, shipping is pretty affordable - a $20 USD flat rate for international addresses.

I've purchased for them a couple of times, just shoot them an email with your order and pay through Paypal, delivery time is approximately a week.

I asked the PGS guys about shipping, it's $20 for first pedal, $8.99 for second, the rest come free. The prices are in USD i think. Dunno about GST though. Was thinking of getting a few of them next year, once I've saved up enough. Like 6 in one shot or something XD

btw: How and when is GST paid?

GST will be charged if the purchase is above S$400. unless you can get them to under-declare the value of the pedals, it might not be a good idea to buy 6 at one go.

Yup, there are places that will underdeclare the value of the items, Or mark them as gifts, I guess you'll have to ask the individual sellers.

GST is usually collected by the delivery man, or upon collection at Singpost HQ.

For anyone whos looking to purchase from PGS, just buy from Tonefactor instead! Save yourself some money on shipping!

Tonefactor and PGS have the same shipping costs, but i dunno about the GST. What's CIF by the way, I just checked the customs site, it said 24.5% charge from items from the USA...

You mentioned that PGS charges 20 + 8.99. Tonefactor charges 20 USD flat.

There is no 24.5% surcharge on your purchase.

Ah, I presume you're looking to get the Kanji series? Apparently they are now made in China with SMD components, which is why the older 'Handwired' ones are commanding a premium price. Not really worth it IMO.

They're made in china now? damn...
Other than that I want to try out the zvex box of metal, though tonefactor only got the vexter ones...

when you ship these in, you'll be charged extra 7% gst right?
btw, over $400 SGD right?

if im not wrong someones selling the box of metal now on the buysell efx section for 360

i'm planning to get a fuzz pedals.. blackout effector twosome.
another alternative maybe wanna get from Sg... fuzzfactory. is there any different between vexter series and the hand painted? or this is just a matters of graphically only?

according to some of the youtube vids, I hear the vexter series sounding abit darker, like the handpainted sound more, plus lifetime warranty :D

^^ Definitely get the Blackout Twosome. Both the Musket and Fix'D were awesome individually, and both in one box is just win in a pedal.

sorry to burst bubble.. you're charged GST if your item + shipping back costs more than 400SGD.

So if your things 370SGD and shipping's 35 bucks.. then too bad for you.
