You're welcome! Those are from one of the european guys at Cymbalholics who's been to visit M.Paiste a couple of times, to modify and customize some cymbals.

The amazing thing with these independent artisans is that you can make custom orders if you know the kinda sound you're looking for.

So far, I believe Johan Van De Sijpe does overseas customization via post - You send him your cymbal to be customized, and he'll modify it, send you a sound file, and that repeats until you're satisfied. Even after you get it back and you wanna mod, there's no more extra charge, you just have to pay for postage if you send it back.

IIRC, the rest like M.Paiste, Steve Hubback, Mike Skiba, you'll need to be there in person.

wa....so u mean there's no chance of gettin it shipped to singapore? even with the public postal services?btw,if i were to buy one,are there any um....prefix type?like the butterfly one etc.,so i dun need to specify something else which may be rather difficult if im not there in person to tell

Those creations already made and posted up on the website, I think you'll be able to purchase. I meant if one wanted to custom make something based on an ideal sound, M. Paiste would require you to be there because it's more personal. Buying the ones already made shouldn't be a problem.

Emailed them yet? mail@swiss-customshop.ch

nah not yet, dunno whether they speak english >< :P
jk,hmm...it would be nice if more information regarding these cymbals were displayed though...*sigh* if only i were living in that country....

our conversation seems rather off topic, perhaps we should chat over pm system or msn?

weckl-x:hey dude,do u own any of the cymbals made by s.c.s?and if not, would u consider purchasing these cymbals someday?for me,im probably gonna wait at least about 1 years + when i have saved enough money.and hopefully by then that s.c.s will update their english site and provide more info regarding their cymbals
